Established in 2001, Sandbar was the very first café bar on Town Street, and paved the way for others. Horsforth has since become one of Leeds most popular destinations for food, drink, entertainment and music.

Originally less than half its current size, Sandbar was extended in 2005, and has its own secluded garden terrace to the rear, perfect for lunch al fresco or a relaxing cocktail on balmy evenings. A heated covered area ensures that even the cooler weather needn’t stop outdoor drinks and dining.

Independently owned, Sandbar is now the flagship for the group, which incorporates Medusa Bar just across the road, and The Black Bull only 100 yards away. Between the three venues you can have breakfast, lunch, enjoy fine wines, beers, champagnes and cocktails, and then finish the evening off with a great live band on stage!
